Terms of Service
Last updated 18 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and CommTrack (“we”, “us”), operated from Australia, covering the CommTrack web app, the CommTrack iPhone app and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
1. What CommTrack is
CommTrack is a personal commission tracker. You describe your commission plan, log your deals, and CommTrack calculates what those deals pay under that plan and forecasts the period. It is a tool for your own understanding. It is not your employer’s system of record, it does not replace your commission statement, and it is not financial, legal or tax advice. Calculations are only as accurate as the plan and deals you enter.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything done under your account.
- One person per account. Team, manager and shared features are not part of the Service.
3. Subscriptions and payment
- The monthly plan starts with a 3-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the monthly price shown at checkout, then monthly on the same day, until you cancel.
- The launch offer is a single payment that keeps your account on CommTrack for as long as the Service operates (see section 8). It is not a subscription and does not renew.
- Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.
- You can cancel the monthly plan any time from My Account → Plan & billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; there are no partial refunds for the remainder of a period.
- If you believe you were charged in error, email us within 14 days and we’ll sort it out. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- Purchases made through the Apple App Store are governed by Apple’s terms and managed through your Apple ID.
4. Your data
Everything you enter — your plan, deals, pipeline, profile — is yours. We store it to provide the Service, we don’t sell it, and we don’t share it with your employer or anyone else except as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export all of it as JSON at any time from My Account, and you can delete your account by emailing us.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the Service: no attempting to access other users’ data, reverse-engineering, scraping, reselling, or using CommTrack for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that do.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available and to fix problems quickly, but it’s provided “as is” without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation. We may add, change or remove features; if a change materially reduces what you paid for, we’ll tell you and, for the monthly plan, you can cancel.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on CommTrack’s calculations or forecasts, including any difference between CommTrack’s figures and what your employer actually pays. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Where a consumer guarantee applies and can’t be excluded, our liability is limited to re-supplying the Service or refunding what you paid for it.
8. Ending the Service
If we ever have to shut CommTrack down, we’ll give at least 60 days’ notice by email, keep export working for that period, and refund launch-offer customers a pro-rata amount based on 24 months from purchase.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. We may update them; material changes will be announced by email or in the app, and continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.
